Community-Supported Concerts
Bringing live music to long-term care homes
I regularly perform live music concerts in long-term care homes across Canada, sharing familiar songs and meaningful musical experiences with residents who deeply appreciate live performance.
These concerts are something I truly love doing. They create moments of connection, memory, and joy, especially for seniors who may experience isolation or limited access to live arts programming.
Many long-term care homes have very limited programming budgets and are often unable to bring in professional live musicians regularly.
To make these concerts accessible, a small group of individuals and local businesses help cover the cost of performances so that homes can receive them at no charge.
This allows residents to enjoy high-quality live music regardless of a facility’s budget.
Why support is needed
“A true concert experience our residents thoroughly enjoyed.”
“Eric’s music and storytelling brought so much joy to our afternoon.”
How support works
Support is simple and personal.
Typically, a gift helps make one or more concerts possible.
Each supported concert brings a full live performance directly to residents, along with the warmth and connection that live music creates.
Supporters receive occasional updates and photos so they can see the impact of what they’ve helped make possible.
This has grown into a quiet, community-supported initiative - made possible by people who believe that meaningful artistic experiences should remain part of life at every age.
I’m deeply grateful to those who help make these concerts possible.

How donations are handled
If a donation is made to support these concerts, it will be processed through my charitable partner, Chamber Factory, a registered Canadian charity.
They handle donation processing and can provide official tax receipts for eligible contributions. Funds are then directed toward supporting live music concerts in long-term care homes.
This partnership allows the concerts to remain community-supported while keeping the process straightforward for donors.
